Chanel Admiration, Palpitation, and Hesitation Ombre Essentielle Eyeshadows

The original item I had to get from Chanel Fall was an eyeshadow. I love the single eye shadows when they are done well, and these do not disappoint.

Admiration is a golden yellow with sparkle. This was a bit tricky to apply dry, as it is more powdery due to the sparkles. The sparkles adhere nicely when I use this one wet.
Palpitation is a matte dusty pink. This eyeshadow is very smooth. It makes a great transition shade when paired with Hesitation.
Hesitation is a warm brownish purple with a slight sheen. It is a lovely crease shade that requires almost no blending. This is my favorite of the bunch, and a shade I will wear frequently.

I really don't have any yellows to compare Admiration to, but purplish brown shades are my thing.
Limit is much cooler and lighter than Palpitation. Nooner is browner than Hesitiation. Berry- Rose is close, but matte and more brown as well. Chanel Seduction has more shimmer, and Magic Night is much deeper.

I am loving these shades together for a fun summer look. If I had to pick one, Hesitation is an absolute favorite!

Chanel Innocence Joues Contraste: Swatches and Review

Innocence is a medium neutral pink with a slight shimmer.
It goes on smoothly, with a very natural finish. The color gives a soft pink glow with a slight sheen.

I figured that I had something similar, and Chanel Rose Petale is very close.

Rose Ecrin is more brown than Innocence. Rose Petale is just a touch warmer and brighter. On the cheeks, they look less similar- Innocence is more muted than Rose Petale.

Even though Innocence might be redundant, I am glad I decided to purchase this lovely color. It is the perfect muted pink that will easily go with many different looks.

Chanel Fall 2014 Overview: Initial Swatches and Thoughts

Here are my picks from Chanel Fall 2014. Yes, it nearly hit 100 degrees here this week and I said fall.

Hesitation was my planned purchase, but I think the golden yellow will be a fun accent color to play with. Palpitation is a smooth, rosy transition shade.

Both of the Rouge Coco Sines are sheer "my lips but better" shades. They are the type that will live in my purse this summer for quick touch ups.
Innocence is a pretty light pink. I am sure I have a few similar shades, but I couldn't pass up a classic.

Here are my closest Chanel shades for comparison:

I plan to do more in depth reviews and some comparisons as I am able to test out these items this week.
