Chanel Month: Sea Greens FOTD

Chanel Waikiki Aqualumiere is a sheer shimmery pink which is slightly cool toned. It is a great natural lip color.

Chanel Month: Kaska Beige FOTD

Kaksa Beige has a light cream color, matte brown, deep burgundy brown, and a shimmery golden bronze. All colors are smooth, soft, and very natural.



Evanescent is a light peachy bronze with a bit of shimmer. It is a light and smooth Rouge Allure.

Chanel Month: Incognito FOTD

Incognito is a plummy pink with slight shimmer. As far as Rouge Allures go, this one is a bit drying and looks better with gloss on top.

Chanel Month: Pink Paladins

Enigma is a gorgeous and versatile palette. For this look I used the gray in the bottom row- a steel gray with silver shimmer.



Rose Petale was my first Joues Contraste purchase. It is a rose pink with a slight glow, though it doesn't shimmer or sparkle. It is a natural pink color on my NC20 skin.



Okay I am not a gamer, so I had to google "paladin" to find out what it was. lol I used it with Pixie Epoxy here which really brought out the aqua shimmer. Next time I want to try it without, so that the taupe base stands out more.

Legende is a bright cool toned pink, but it isn't overly intense.


Okay, I really just wanted to try out my new Rock & Republic things my sister gave me, and I managed to use a Chanel lipstick to tie into the theme this month.

Back To (Home)School

Here are my boys on their first day of school. I joined a group this year that meets weekly, so they did actually go to classes for their first day.

Nathan is a bit camera shy, and he loves his blankets.


This is possibly a real smile above.


But really Mom, enough with the pictures.


Samuel has caught something interesting before photo time.


He is a ham for the camera. Note the dark on his chin- it is a nice bruise from falling while playing in the goat pen.
