Things I Will Never Live Without

Clorox Wipes
These have got to be one of the greatest inventions ever. At first, being the cheapskate I am, I thought "why can't I just use a rag and some cleaner"? I bought a pack anyway, and I have never turned back. They are so convenient to use. Things I use them for:

* wipe down the toilet and bathroom counter every few days- I can go weeks between a real bathroom cleaning now

*wipe up little food spills in the kitchen when cooking

*wipe up small potty training accidents from my son

*wipe the bottom of the dog crate to get rid of smells and any messes

I have used name brand and store brand of these, and I have found no major differences so far. I do buy the Clorox brand when they are on sale or I have a coupon though.

Make your own Fage

I love Fage.

I could eat it for breakfast, lunch , and dinner. I usually just top it with some honey. My problem is that Fage costs $5.69 for about 16 oz at my local Kroger. That's a lot of dough for something I consume in 2 or 3 days.

In order to make your own Fage, you will need: regular plain yogurt, paper towels, and a strainer (or colander or anything with lot of holes in it). I personally use my steamer. I put my steamer over a pot to catch the excess liquid. Then I line my steamer with about 3 paper towels and dump the yogurt on top. Stick your empty yogurt container and your strainer in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Then you can scoop your yogurt back into the container- done!

For 32 oz of plain yogurt I paid $2.19 and after I strained it, about 16 oz remained. Quite a savings and I couldn't even taste the difference.

I iz a bloggur.

I have finally decided to start my own blog.  This is my first post.

Yep, that's about it for now.  It will probably take me awhile to learn how to make my page pretty and upload pics.
